In Germany there are about 240000 registrated fires each year. A statistic tells us that most of the fires are conditional upon electricity (31%).
Immediately after this reason, fires caused by human missconduct follow: such as the classical fat fire in the kitchen which has already caused a couple of serious fires after somebody has tried to put it out with water. The same counts for wax. If wax catches fire in the furnace crucible, please remember:
NEVER PUT BURNING WAX OUT WITH WATER BUT TAKE EITHER A FITTING LID OR A FIRE BLANKET IN ORDER TO QUENCH THE FIRE. The try to put burning wax out with water might cause a fire ball of some cubic meters in your factory! Nobody won’t be able to make this mistake twice!
Safety instructions for the use of candles:
Only let children come close to burning candles if somebody watches them directly! Always keep the wick so short that the flame doesn’t produce soot! Avoid draught! Always oversee burning candles! Every single candle might burn your house down! But this only happens to others, right?
